Editorial – Archetype Christmas songs all have a common thread in that they manage to capture the season'south magic and wonder. All the same, there is no correct way to celebrate the holidays; some music isn't celebrated to the same degree because it fails to adhere to the innocence associated with Santa Claus and the spirit he embodies.
We don't just mean swears here or there, either. We're talking developed themes that are 180° from the term "holly jolly."
Here at HipHopDX, we've rounded up a list of 12 Christmas rap songs that you absolutely shouldn't play when the kiddies are in the room.
"A Pimp'south Christmas Song" – Snoop Dogg f. Jake the Bit & Don Bishop "Magic" Juan (2008)
Almost Festive Bars: "You know I'm actress tight, I'm takin' hella flying/Grab a bad bitch I'm just like Dolomite."
Few rappers have as many holiday songs as Snoop Dogg but this one featuring The Archbishop himself, Don "Magic" Juan, and Michigan spitter Jake The Fleck is special. If you idea y'all had little something in common with pimps, information technology turns out you both love the holidays!
"How Sean Price Stole Christmas" – Sean Price (2012)
Most Festive Confined: "Fuck Christmas, fuck this shit/Stick my dick in a box, fuck this gift"
In some ways, this song is peak Sean Toll — dripping aggressive IDGAF Free energy on full tilt. Sampling Thurl Ravenscroft'southward "Y'all're A Mean One Mr. Grinch," Sean fully embodies his emerald-colored muse, The Grinch, every bit he holds no punches on his disdain for the holiday frills.
"Ho Hoe Hoes" – Poison Clan & The New ii Live Coiffure (1993)
Almost Festive Bars: "We are non giving out any Christmas joy this season/Just Christmas dick."
The only thing harder than getting your hands on a concrete copy of Christmas at Luke's Sex activity Shop is choosing just one song on the compilation for this list. "Ho Hoe Hoes" narrowly leads the pack, with bars that highlight their reluctance to give annihilation but "D" to "hoes" expecting extravagance for the holidays.
"12 Days Of Bhristmas" — Love Renaissance (LVRN) f. OMB Bloodbath & Westside Boogie (2020)
Almost Festive Bars: "On the ninth day of Bhristmas, my bitch got me a Glock/She said, "This nowadays ain't for you, I got this merely for your opps."
Interscope signee OMB Bloodbath and Shady Records' Compton MC Westside Boogie connect for this twist on Frederic Austin'due south 1909 iteration of "12 Days Of Christmas." All the same, pleasantries similar mocking birds and gold rings are replaced by new guns and 12 days of not-linear street-isms.
"Christmas In Da Ghetto" – Primary P & C-Murder" (1993)
Most Festive Confined: "Christmas in the ghetto only own't worth shit/Tell Santa Claus he can suck my dick."
This song paints an illustration of Christmas from the bottom, from sitting in a cell for selling piece of work on Christmas Eve to just straight upwards navigating the realities of life in the early on 90s running through the Calliope Projects of New Orleans.
"SANTA CLAUS" – Raz Simone (2018)
About Festive Bars: "Bowwow I'grand with the shit, nosotros ain't got St. Nick, hitting a lick/Creepin' through your firm with the tool, bitch I'grand Cindy Lou."
Raz Simone portrays Santa Claus as a less than jolly figure who pulls licks, creeps through your home similar Cindy Lou (from The Grinch Who Stole Christmas), and has sex with prostitutes rather than evangelize gifts. Merry Christmas to all, indeed. (It's a bop, though.)
"St. Brick Intro" – Gucci Mane (2016)
Most Festive Bars: "Santa Claus of the hood, I pull up with the piece of work/They call me Eastward Atlanta Santa, sew together on me go murked."
The E Atlanta Santa traps through the snow, spreading Wop-mas spirit through the neighborhood, over possibly ane of the best Jingle Bell flips of all time (courtesy of Zaytoven).
"Crustified Christmas" – R.A. The Rugged Human & Mac Lethal (2013)
Well-nigh Festive Bars: "I visit Miss Claus, got her clothes ripped off/But that sometime bitch got my dick soft, now the elves are pissed off."
From comparing Santa to a white Rick Ross to graphic — and bad-mannered — sexual exploits and smacking Grandmas effectually, R.A. and Mac Lethal take the Bad Santa concept to new heights.
"Merry Muthafuckin' Xmas" – Eazy-East f. Rudy Ray Moore (a.yard.a. Dolemite, y'all!), Atban Klann, Menajahtwa & Buc Fifty (1992)
Almost Festive Bars: "Ring them bells, ring them bells, she'southward taking information technology all the way/ Oh what fun it is to picket her suck my dick this mode."
This stands every bit 1 of the more recognizable anti-holiday spirit records out there. Still, maybe the most forgotten trivia piece about this song is that Black Eyed Peas members will.i.am and apl.de.ap (so known equally A.T.B.A.Northward Klann) make a rowdy guest appearance.
"Christmas Vocal" – Juelz Santana f. Skull Gang (2008)
Virtually Festive Confined: "Wrap your lips and tongue effectually me/I'll slide my gift under your Christmas Tree."
This single appears on the 2008 holiday LP past Jim Jones and Skull Gang, A Tribute to Bad Santa Starring Mike Epps. If upper echelon holiday sex puns are your thing, Juelz Santana's poesy is top-tier.
"Santa Baby" – Khia (2018)
Most Festive Bars: "Nick made me expect all year for the dick/12 months of Christmas screamin' ho, ho, ho."
It's most laughable now that when Eartha Kitt showtime dropped "Santa Baby" in 1953, it was panned by many equally as well suggestive — even temporarily banned in the south. It'due south fun to imagine that same audition hearing Khia's 2016 take on the classic song.
"Afroman" – Deck My Balls (2006)
Almost Festive Bars: "Lick my balls with lots of saliva, fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la/'Tis the season to suck a drunk driver, fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la"
Afroman goes full a capella for this thoughtful accept on the iconic classic "Deck the Halls." Fun fact, once you hear this song, you'll likely be incapable of hearing the original without hearing this version in your head.
